2008년 세계를 공포와 충격에 빠뜨린 [REC]의 후속편. 영화는 전편이 끝난 바로 몇 초 후의 상황을 보여주며 시작된다. 취재진과 소방관들이 모두 감염되고 남은 사람은 리포터 안젤라 뿐. 좀비 바이러스에 완전히 잠식당한 아파트는 봉쇄되고, 그 안으로 상황을 파악할 SWAT팀과 목적을 알 수 없는 오웬 박사가 투입된다. (2010년 제14회 부천국제판타스틱영화제)
