서울의 대형 할인 매장 엘리베이터 안에서 토만난 시체가 비닐에 싸인 채 발견된다. 뒤이어 일어난 두 건의 살인 사건에서도 시체들은 각각 몸의 한 부분이 잘려나간 상태로 발견된다. 조형사(한석규)는 사건 규명을 위해 구성된 수사팀 반장을 맡게 되지만 사건의 실마리는 전혀 풀리지 않는다. 그러던 중 3번째의 희생자가 혈우병 환자인 것을 근거로 하여 3명의 신원이 밝혀지고, 그들과 관계 있는 한 여자가 떠오른다. 그녀, 채수연 채수연(심은하)은 프랑스 유학을
