2017년 가을, 다양한 노동 현장에서 일을 하던 청년들이 자립을 고민하며 통일창업아이디어공모전에서 덜컥 통일부장관상을 받았다. 그러나 현실은 엄혹했다. 경계 너머의 세상을 상상해보기로 했다. 그곳은 북방이었고 유라시아 대륙이었다. 호남선이 시작되는 목포역에서 서울역을 지나 베를린까지 아홉편의 글을 쓰고 노래를 만들고 춤을 추며 기차를 타고 올라가기로 했다. 그러나 돌아온 이곳에는 감내해야 하는 현실이 있었다. 지금 여기에서 평화할 수 있을까?​
