한때 신부가 되려 했던, 금욕적 완벽주의자 윤교수(조한철)가 갑작스런 심근경색으로 쓰러진다. 몸을 가눌 수 없게 된 그를 간병하는데 지친 아내는 돌보는 환자마다 완치시킨다는 간병인 숙희(채민서)를 고용한다. 모든 환자를 자기 아이처럼 돌보며 치료한다는 빨간머리에 형형색색으로 손톱을 치장한 유별난 모습의 ‘숙희’ 홀로 남은 윤교수에게 숙희는 특별한 간병을 시작하고 윤교수는 숙희의 기묘한 매력에 빠지며 알 수 없는 감정에 사로잡히는데…
