아픔을 지닌 한 여자의 고독한 삶과 그 공허함을 메우려는 안타까운 모습을 극도의 사실적 표현으로 묘사한 영화. 프리랜서 기자로 활동하는 로라(모니카 델 카르멘 분)는 고독한 삶을 견딜 수 없을 때마다 낯선 남자를 집으로 유혹해서 격렬한 정사를 나눈다. 가학적 섹스를 즐기는 아르투로(구스타보 산체스 파라 분)를 만난 후로 로라는 고통의 쾌감에 더욱 끌리고 집착하게 된다.
