영상에 소리를 입히는 폴리 아티스트 ‘종철’. 늘 일에만 열중해 온 그는 그러다 보니 자연스레 아내와 아들에게 소홀해져 버렸다. 여름 휴가 조차 함께 하지 못한 그에게 결국 아내 희수는 화를 내며 아들 은규와 함께 홀로 휴가를 떠나버린다. 모든 게 귀찮았던 종철은 일을 핑계 삼아 녹음 작업 중에 걸려온 아내 희수의 전화를 받지 않고 그냥 꺼 버리고 마는데… 선옥(조안)과 함께 마트에 장보러 온 영웅(강수한)은 주차장에서 가벼운 접촉사고로 ‘종철’을 만나
