몸이 아프다는 핑계를 대고 남편의 생일파티를 빠져나온 젬마는 집에 도착하자마자 남편의 가방을 싸고 쫓아낼 결심을 한다. 하지만 파티에서 돌아온 남편은 술에 잔뜩 취해 젬마가 내놓은 짐 가방을 알아보지도 못하고 그대로 잠이 든다. 갈등하던 젬마는 아들 톰을 생각해 결국 짐 가방을 풀어 남편의 짐을 다시 제자리에 놓고 평소처럼 병원에 출근하는데
