산초는 동생 알폰소와 오르두뇨를 포함해 알폰소에게 동조한 레온 귀족을 전부 처형하기로 한다. 알폰소가 죽으면 산초는 레온의 왕이 될 것이다. 그리고 오르두뇨가 죽으면 그간 보여준 충정에 대한 대가로 루이에게 백작 작위를 주겠다고 제안한다. 루이 마침내 꿈꾸던 모든 것을 손에 넣게 됐다. 작위, 영지, 그리고 히메나까지. 하지만 루이가 확신할 수 없는 것이 있다.
